For our founder Jens Schelde, it all began in a TV studio in the early 1990s.
Standing among cables, lamps and cameras, he realized that light is not just technology — it evokes emotions, creates magic, makes people remember moments and gives places a soul.
That insight set him on a lifelong journey: from repairing mufflers to supplying light for the EU Presidency, from Shenzhen to Copenhagen, from cinemas to large stadiums.
1988–1991: The first steps — low-voltage technician, learning electronics and lighting.
1990s: TV lighting & live events — Kanal 2, TV2, large concerts and cinemas.
2000–2009: International outlook — China, England and Germany. Projects in stadiums, conference centres and illuminated signage.
From global experience to Danish precision, Jens learned one thing from working all over the world: quality is never negotiable. He took the best from China, Germany and England and combined it with Danish precision and aesthetics.
In 2010, Via Visual was founded
